Resident evil 4 remake face models The remake of Capcom’s genre-defining Resident Evil from 2005 aims to outperform it in every way. Players old and new will be drawn into an updated journey thanks to a comprehensive redesign of everything from the graphics and gameplay to the overall mood and Shinji Mikami’s writing. While the Resident Evil 3 remake did not perform as well as the wildly successful Resident Evil 2 remake, fans are expecting the Resident Evil 4 remake will be more successful than the Resident Evil 3 remake.

Yet while fans are occupied dissecting every piece of footage from Capcom’s recent Resident Evil Showcase, it pays to look more closely at what is happening on the surface. Almost all the characters in the Resident Evil 4 remake have received glow-ups that make them look more realistic and fashionable to the point that some of them look like completely different people. Whilst some of the characters appear virtually exactly the same as they did 17 years ago, not all of them receive the same care and attention, which just goes to demonstrate how timeless their designs are.

The legendary Resident Evil 4 foes, the Ganados, are next; all of them got new character models courtesy to the RE Engine. The Ganados continue to dress in the same drab commoner attire from the original, which consists of a variety of shirts, dresses, vests, and slacks. This is true despite the increased graphical fidelity. Although if the Ganados’ clothing is filthy as ever, it nonetheless provides gamers with a window into their former lives before the Las Plagas occupied their village.

One must first examine the characters in Resident Evil 4 that resemble their original counterparts before going on to the larger character design modifications. The main character, Leon S. Kennedy, is a cross of his Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 2 remake models. The Leon depicted in the trailers is still based on Romanian model Eduard Badaluta, but he is now dressed in Resident Evil 4’s signature outfit. Leon is dressed with black tights, blue slacks, and a sheepskin bomber jacket. Leon appears to lose his jacket early on in the remake, much like in the original game.

Chief Bitores Mendez, who is as towering and imposing as ever, is in charge of the village’s insane residents. Mendez conceals his true identity from passersby by donning a long trenchcoat and a brand-new hat. Mendez’s face still has some of its distinguishing characteristics, the most notable and notable of which are his long beard and artificial left eye, despite the fact that the bulk of his body has been corrupted by the Las Plagas (the latter of which becomes a key item for players to progress through the game).

Moving on to the larger character designs, we begin with Ashley Graham, Resident Evil 4’s second protagonist. Ashley’s character design has undergone significant alterations, and she is now based on Dutch model Ella Freya. As opposed to her short bob in the first game, Ashley now has an asymmetrical bob. Over her recognizable orange turtleneck sweater and green checkered skirt, she adds a functional orange coat. Ashley appears to be considerably older than she was in the first game, but it is unclear whether this reflects an improvement in her skills or maturity.

    Dr. Luis Sera

The Nintendo GameCube version of Dr. Luis Sera’s character design has entirely changed the way he looks. He still appears to have his parted hair and devil-may-care demeanor, but a foreign face has taken the place of his plainly Spanish one. Fans are still split over Luis Sera’s facial appearance, although he continues to dress in the same Spanish-inspired attire as in the first Resident Evil 4.

    Ada Wong

Ada Wong returned to the Resident Evil series in Resident Evil 4, joining Leon. As Adriana, a real-life model, continues to serve as the inspiration for her face, it appears just as it did in the Resident Evil 2 remake. She no longer wears her red dress; instead, she is wearing a red turtleneck sweater, which is more appropriate for her spy adventures. This represents a change in her wardrobe. There is a good probability that Assignment: Ada and Separate Ways, two of Ada’s playable parts, will be included in the game at some point if the Resident Evil 4 remake seeks to pay homage to the original.

    Salazar

Ramon Salazar had the last significant character modification displayed in Capcom’s Resident Evil Showcase. Salazar is only twenty years old, but his exposure to the Las Plagas has made him appear older than he is. His white hair, which resembles a powdered wig more than natural locks, is shown when his tricorn hat is removed. But because of his diminutive size and purple attire, it is quite simple for onlookers to get used to his new appearance.
